A mainstage plenary for 2,500 seats; a fully branded 4,518m2 exhibition area for more than 30 sponsors and two 50pax mini theatres; 8 stage sets for up to 400pax breakouts. The result? Thousands of engaged delegates from 7 different lines of business, all under one roof. And an events team who were allowed to eat all the ice cream in the world after burning 13,920 calories by walking 42 miles and climbing 104 floors.
After our team took 12 flights, 2 trains, and 32 taxi transfers, hundreds of security and IT professionals were left enlightened with insights they couldn’t get anywhere else, when one leader in counter-terrorism talked about what’s really going on right now in cyber security. It was a fully-booked, three-week, nine-country and ten-venue European tour where like-minded delegates gained knowledge and then connected with one another over relaxing networking lunches.

5 areas of consideration for the smoothest event flow
Part 3 of our conference survival mini-series looks at everything our 2,000-delegate conference taught us about event flow. There’s no denying that it was a monumental challenge, but making sure staff knew what they were doing and that delegates knew when and where events were taking place was key to an enjoyable and constructive experience.
